The DEADLIFT is one of the most feared and controversial exercises. I think in many ways, it mirrors the challenges of life, and it is worth a list!

1.THEY ARE DAUNTING AT FIRST, BUT GIVE YOU THE BEST FEELING ONE YOU CONQUER THEM
The idea of lifting massive weight without a spotter is as intimidating as tackling major life changes,  but once you get past the fear and actually do it, your whole body screams YESSS IAM INVINCIBLE!! And you just want to add more weight!!! Or more challenges!!

2. THEY ARE VERY COMPLEX, SO DOING IT RIGHT GIVES YOU A SENSE OF YOUR OWN WORTH
The deadlift is a whole body movement, it involves pretty much having full control of your entire kinetic chain, so if you master it, is akin to pretty much having your shit together!

3. YOU CANT LOOK CUTE DOING A GOOD DEADLIFT, JUST AS WHEN YOU ARE DOING SOME MAJOR CHANGES IN YOUR LIFE
Deadlifts teach you that sometimes you have to get calluses, get sweaty, grunt, push, and it is not always perfection, but is what you have to do to accomplish what you want, AND THAT’S OK.

4. A LOT OF PEOPLE WILL CRITIZICE YOU IF YOU DEADLIFT, OR IF YOU GO FOR GOALS THAT THEY ARE TOO SCARED OF
To accomplish something big, you will find little support from the majority, because most people are too afraid to do scary big things. Once you do it, you will give exactly 0 fucks about what they think!!!

5. IF YOU DEADLIFT, YOU WILL FIND OTHER PEOPLE THAT DEADLIFT, AND THEY WILL BECOME YOUR TRIBE
In life, as we grow, we have to let some people go; those that don’t grow with us, but along the way we find others on the same path and they cheer us on, and we cheer them on, and we all become stronger together!!
So deadlift on, break a little sweat, make some noise, drop that big ass weight hard and loud if you need to, and conquer on!!! The lions approve and the sheep are shaking in the shadows!!!
So deadlift on, make progress, keep growing physically and spiritually!!!!
